the blair mitch project is an acoustic/electric vocal duo based out of boca raton, florida. completely self contained, the act is mainly booking performances in the wpb/boca raton/north broward region.
together they make a powerful statement for songs in the truest sense of the word.
individually they are:
mitch weyuker, born in the usa, but having spent a greater part of his life abroad, has been performing music ever since he was 13 years old. he has had quite a bit of success in Isreal and is now back living permanantly in America bringing his formidable vocal, guitar and keyboard chops to the project. mitch performs as well with "Frenzz" a local quartet playing classic rock and blues.
blair king, best known as a popular drummer/vocalist, has been playing keyboards on and off ever since he was 16. he enjoys the challenge of making a go of it in a different part of the foundational level section. blair also performs in SoFla with hello goodbye (beatle band), ready steady go (sixites band), the affiliates (jazz-rock band) and on call for any & all future performances of Miami's legendary MCA Recording Atrtists "The Rockerfellas".
with many influences, they have chosen a mixture of classic songs and pepper them with contemporary tunes that that fit into their musical direction ... so expect to hear tunes from the dylan, beatles, eagles, doors, james taylor, csny, bob marley, white stripes, daniel powter, the vinyl kings, the youngbloods, green day and many more.
